More to enjoy in every tin
A morning latte, a quiet bowl of tea, a weekend dessert. Two matcha blends, ready for the moments you love.
Green meeting white. Choose the gentle bitterness of Tori no Kanade or the mellow umami of Suikan.
Begin with 2g of matcha and 60ml of water. Let the simple act of whisking become a moment of your own.
Sift a little over vanilla ice cream for fragrance and gentle bitterness. No hot water or whisk needed.
Explore the recipes before we open. Choose Suikan for koicha. Utensils, milk and other ingredients are not included.
A warm bowl, a cool glass, or a simple dessert. Choose a way to suit your day. Quantities below are starting points for one serving.
Soften the tips of your bamboo whisk in warm water. Warm the bowl, dry it, then sift in the matcha to help prevent lumps.

01
A light, warm bowl to enjoy the aroma. Suitable for both TORI NO KANADE and SUIKAN.
2g matcha / 60ml water at about 80°C (176°F)
If it tastes too strong, add a little more water.

02
Both Tori no Kanade and Suikan are delicious in a matcha latte. Choose by your taste: Tori no Kanade balances umami, astringency and bitterness; Suikan offers rich aroma and mellow umami with little bitterness.
2g matcha / 30ml water at about 80°C (176°F) / 120ml milk / ice / 1–2 tsp (5–10ml) sugar syrup, optional
For wasanbon (fine Japanese sugar) or honey, warm a small portion of the measured milk, dissolve the sweetener in it and combine with the remaining milk. For a hot latte, use warm milk and omit the ice. Oat milk and other alternatives work too. SUIKAN is also a lovely choice.

03
Cool and refreshing, with the umami of SUIKAN or the gentle bitterness of TORI NO KANADE.
2g matcha / 60ml water at about 80°C (176°F) / ice / 1 tsp (5ml) sugar syrup, optional
Wasanbon, a fine Japanese sugar, or honey also work. Add a little to the warm matcha and dissolve before adding ice. Enjoy unsweetened if you prefer a refreshing, pure matcha flavour.

04
Sprinkle either Tori no Kanade or Suikan over vanilla ice cream. Start with a little and explore the flavour you enjoy.
About 100g vanilla ice cream / 0.5–1g matcha
Enjoy with either blend. Sprinkle the dry powder directly; no hot water is needed.

05
For a more concentrated taste of SUIKAN. We recommend SUIKAN for this rich, thick preparation.
4g SUIKAN / 30ml water at about 80°C (176°F)
Koicha uses more powder in proportion to water than usucha. If you are new to matcha, a bowl of usucha is a welcoming place to begin.
Follow the storage instructions on the tin. Keep away from heat, moisture, direct sunlight and strong odours. Use a clean, dry spoon, close the lid after use and enjoy soon after opening.
